Shred the Debt is a powerful solution—a project model designed to raise funds, purchase outstanding medical debt, and eliminate it completely. Through an innovative collaboration with Undue Medical Debt, a nonprofit that specializes in purchasing medical debt from debt collections for pennies on the dollar, hubs in the United States can purchase and forgive medical debt for their communities at a fraction of its original cost.
Beyond just relieving financial stress, this initiative inspires communities to take action and reclaim the futures of those impacted. With a focus on collaboration and empowerment, any hub in the United States can take this framework and make an impact in their region. Together, we can shred the debt and create a path toward hope and opportunity.
